Hi,
Which is the best way to restrict text input fields? For instance, I have an animated knob plus a text input underneath, and when the user inputs a value, I would like to restrict it between 2 values and reflect the min/max value to the animated knob ( that is, if the user inputs a value outside my restrictions, the knob should display and jump to the relative min or max value) and of course output the min/max voltage I specified in the knob "automation"properties
Thank you

mmmm.. i would try it like this... text to float - something like an "if greater <-> if smaller" module "float limiter" (set up to fit your automation properties. so if greater or smaller pass value back to a "float to text"

Thank you!with your suggestion it was as easy as adding a float limiter to the float scaler value out (well it took me some time to figure it out, I'm still fresh on Synthedit, but love it!) Now the thing tha i can't figure out is how to restrict the user from inputting letters or other keyboard elements (other than numbers)....When this is done the knob goes down to zero. It would be descent if the knob stays at the previous value when letters are input. Vangelis Attachments:
