Hey guys is it possible to build a sequencer in 64bit SE?
Here is what I'd like to have in the sequencer.
A way to control the number of steps. To be able to control the direction of the steps ( i.e. Forward, Reverse and bounce (from 1 to 16 back to 1, them repeat) And maybe able to select notes for each step (i.e. could be MIDI note numbers verses the actual note name)
Could this be done with standard SE modules, plus the few 3rd party 64bit modules available?

Hey folks, I guess I have answered my own question on this one. The answer is; "Yes, a sequencer can be made in 64bit SynthEdit without 3rd party modules!"
So far, I can make it step forwards and step backwards, though I'm still working on the bounce (I gotta do some thinkin' on this one). Also, at the moment, I have to calculate the slider settings to get accurate notes (which may not even be needed anyway). And, I'm still working on controlling the number of steps, currently it has 16 fixed steps.
So, yep, it can be done, as to how sophisticated it can be, well that remains to be seen as of this moment.

If you need someone to help debug, I'd give it a go. Once I'm happy with the stability and functions of my step sequencer prefab, I do plan to upload it to share as well. Just been busy and haven't had much time to continue work on it here of late (hopefully soon though).
