Hello, I am trying to make a seq with 32 steps but the module I am using (xoxos 16 step seq) has maximum 16... How can I "chain" seq modules so that I can have more steps? p.s. this module has volts input pins.
And one more thing. The reset pin does not always reset the seq to step 1. What can be wrong?
Thanks.

sequenzing staff is a little bit (<-- ok not a little) tricky and depends on many different facts. 1. SE 1.0x or 1.1x ? (for se1.0x you need CK´s hotst status because the "transport run" is not timing stable! 2. what clock are you using? the SE clock is not start/stop timing stable. 3. what daw? the daw problen is maybe the biggest problem because all daw act a little bit different. daws like cubase use a preroll-feature that is not supported by synthedit itself! that means you have to find the best setting for your own daw. my own sequenzer runs best with FL-Studio or Abelton Live but sucks with cubase. 4. maybe the problem is the module itself. try a monostable in front. and remember... you have to hit reset before the clock triggers the step you want to reset! 5. to chain the sequenzer you can try to use a sample&hold in combination with a trigger. last step of the seq triggers a switch that switches between seq 1 & 2. maybe i will do a simple 32 step counter (but not with "volt in")

Thank you so much KM.
I am using SE 1.1914. My DAW is Cubase 5 and yes I have timing problems... I use the gate of the MIDI to CV to reset the seq. As the notes are leleased this sends the reset command to the seq. But it doesn't always do reset... I will try out your advice and see what I can manage as an (almost) newb.
Thanks again for your precious time and advice.
