Not sure where to post this because I'm running 1.9demo, so does that count as 2?
Anyway, I don't see the waveplayer anywhere and I tried to plug a wave into the sampleplayer example but it didn't oscillate.
If anyone could give me some insight with the classic wav player or a alternative, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have DH_Waveplayer2 but I read that wavs can't be embed into the dll using 3rdparty modules.
I want to develop many drum plugins using some old drum machine samples and don't really need them streaming out of a soundfont, also because I want multiple outs (eventually after purchasing the full version).
I can create single sample soundfonts but I have a large collection of singles, which would make sf2 creation tedious.
I'm using these as a stepping stone for mid point development of a drum synth.
Best regards

Which version of SE are you using? Version 1.9 doesn't exist..we're at 1.2

"Help > About Synthedit" shows you the version. Probebly: 1.1914
The Waveplayer module has been replaced by SampleOscillator2, see how it works in the Examples folder.

Yes, I've tried that but it has a soundfont extension. Even when going all files in the dialog then loading a wav it doesnt repond.
I must be doing something wrong, I'll try again.
Could you possibly tell me more specifics on samplerate behavior?
I plan to resample the samples to 96kHz then load them into the wave player and run them at 44.1kHz. I believe this will increase the quality when pitching down due to more sample points.
Will they just be resampled again to 44.1kHz or am I just throwing a wrench into the gears?

Oh right haha, didn't look there. As far as resampling, don't think that'll work but i'm no expert on that.
