I can't seem to trigger a standard ADSR2 gate using image2 (animation position, mouse down). I have even just loaded up a controls>slider (button:volts) to gate and still it is not opening.
What am I missing? The standard MIDI to CV volts read out only goes from 0 to 10 and is in the shape of a square in a scope. What does the gate on a ADSR2 listen for in order to open?
Thanks in advance

Hello, I tested a simple gating with a slider(button) and it works just fine. What are you trying to trigger in you test with the slider/button? Vangelis Attachments:

Yea, your right. I'm did exactly whats in your example, although it didn't work earlier.
My SE copy has slowly been giving me problems due to version changes. I just finished losing my converters.sem (system file).
It's very discouraging, but I'll figure out a way to patch it and move on.
I asked about "missing modules" on the face book page, it's time to make a thread here.
Thanks Vangelis

Is your problem solved by using the drum trigger?

No using the above illustration doesnt allow for the gate to be opened using a image or a standard slider (button), for some unknown reason.
The work around I am using is the trigger to midi module and having it run through the back of the drum trigger.

In the help files it states that this happens because of the sleeping effect from modules that are not downchain from the MIDI to cv/trigger gate. It also suggests using a trigger to MIDI to overcome this. The problem I am having now is connecting the cv gate back into the image to trigger when MIDI in plays the drum sample. The result is the image triggers twice at the same time, which my DAW doesn't like, diabling the vsti, stating that it has encountered an error. The only work around is using automation to trigger the image once the drum (poly gate) is triggered. The problem here is the channel pin on the drum trigger, which is DSP and the patch automator channel pin is GUI. ? I'm considering going to the Yahoo Groups to use many of their offered resources, such as tutorials, the problem I have there is Yahoo Groups interface is slow and shifty and also has a learning curve just to use it. It would be great if Yahoo would develop a Yahoo Groups app for the play store.

It sometimes can be slow to post messages, but getting to the resources should be fine.. been using Yahoo Groups (website) since 2003. Are you only browsing the internet thru a Android tablet (maybe try a different browser)?
