Currently version 1.2 and up have the render bugs and this is a known issue. For now we have to wait until Jeff wars the bugs out.

Ok thanks a lot! I will ask more questions if I get stuck. You have been a great help and so has the SDK Synthedit user group also. I have been reading the learncpp website just for the basics and more as time goes on. Then I will be sure of the right questions to ask.

Are you serious? This easy. I am starting to like coding more and more, although there is still so much to learn. I am learning the basics and so far really good. Just wish I had more time.
Thanks

How would you change Synthedit to make it better?

How to code this here.
Basically I would like to be about to make a sha256 hash module for sythedit. My goal Would be able to make a simple form of key protection. User sends me first name, last name, email, I generate the hash, user inputs the hash and it matches the what's internal, this then unlocks the product, saves the key and when the user loads the plugin, it loads the info and the plugin shows that its registered to that user. Of course people could give out code to others with their name, but this would help people not to give out the product.

Man I would love Jeff to develop my plugins! "Of course it would cost a bundle" but could you imagine his work? Being that he developed synthedit, Nothing is too hard for him.

memory don't seem to be too big of an issue, but I do wonder why It would not save cpu. Is this because the module still has to process the second input? I do wonder how and why when I used synthmaker/flowstone, left and right channels could be packed into one stream and unpacked so the mods in-between only used cpu like running 1 input. Wonder if Synthedit could possibly do this. This would save a lot of cpu for L R Channels.

Example, would making a gain module that is set up with left and right channels for audio save cpu? Or would it be the same of the loading 2 gain mods, one for the left and one for the right?
Thanks

I will say, the website forum is very impressive. I think all synthedit users should join. It is easier to see what topics people posted then the yahoo user groups. But then again, I do realize some people like to keep topics more private from the public. Maybe if this site grows, we can crowd fun enough money to run this site so user can post bigger than 1mb files.

Ok I have found out after reading on the synthedit yahoo user groups, that a person will have to have a mac computer to compile 3rd party sems to use for mac.
