Hey guys...
i´m experiencing something that i do not know if it is normal or not. When i tweak an HP DH_Multifilter in Q mode (and sometimes in Res too) while the Reverb is on, i hear big sweap snaps like "STAAAAA!!!" ... this haappens when i push the cutoff down an increase resonance! Normaly i can control it by adjusting these 2 parameters, but i care for my users and their speakers.. i mean..i do not work with others VSTi far more than 5 years and i do not produce music far sometime too, so, i do not know if this is something that is normal on other VSTi filters or not.
I´m using a value of 0-10 on cutoff and 0.010-10 on resonance.
Thanks!!!

im not really sure but i think you mean snaps from the cutoff-knob. this is happening at high reso value because of the limited midi-values. a normal midi-control-change is 0-127 (128 steps). that resolution is unfortunately to small for today

So, is there anyway to fix it or should i leave it like this? I set new min and max values for both cut and res -> 0.5 min and 10 max <- it seems to be better but i did not tested it for sure :S

i think thats up to you. some of the filters arround i set 0-9.5 because the reso is much to strong. some DAW (for example fl-studio) have an antialiasing option that fades values. also you can try to build a fader that use NRPN instead of CC but i never tried out something like this. also the midi-controller must support this (for example "pitch-bend" use NRPN).
