I have started getting an odd error.
Error: DSP setting streaming on Input pin
After the error message pops up, I click the OK button to close the error dialog and then SE crashes. This is in SE1.2 64-bit.
Does anyone have any idea as to what my cause that error?
FYI - The project was working fine yesterday, so I'm kinda lost as to why or what happened as nothing changed in the file.
EDIT: I think I may have tracked it down, last night I downloaded the updated version of RH-BiQuadSDK3.sem. This project was using that module in a prefab, once I deleted that prefab the error goes away. Also, the prefab was working prior to updating this module. Just to note, all the remaining modules in that prefab were standard SE modules. Can someone please verify this.
EDIT2: Ha Ha, I got lucky, I found the older version in my Recycle Bin, once I restored it everything it working fine again. So, I guess that confirms the the latest version of RH-BiQuadSDK3.sem does seem to have a problem. Anyway, problem solved, at least on my end.

I can't reproduce the error you got, downloaded the version available on my blogsite and used it in a simple VSTplugin (32 and 64bits). Starting the SE engine doesn't produce it, and creating a VST and loading it into FLstudio works fine also ( playing notes and using the filter ).
Maybe delete the module on your end and insert it again?
Cheers,
Rob

I downloaded again yesterday, same thing happens. Just to note, I tried using ASIO4All and Primary Sound Driver in my SE settings, doesn't matter either give the same affect.
Just out of curiosity, does the latest version use some CPU calls/instructions that may only be available on more modern CPU's. My CPU is an older Pentium D, not sure if that might make a difference.

Hi,
I updated my Synthedit versions to the latest available. After that I loaded up my testproject in the 32 and 64bit version, starting the engine doesn't produce the error nor when I create a VST and load it into FLstudio. My SEM does make use of SSE2 instructions, but I think those are available to Pentium D CPUs..not sure tho. I use my primary sound driver in SE, ASIO4all in FLstudio.
So I don't know why you are getting that error..

Hey Rob,
The Pentium D does support SSE2 and SSE3, checked the web to make sure. As long as it is working for you and others then I'll just have to live with it. At least the older version works fine for me, and I can live with that. Not sure what else to do at this point, so I'd say just mark this one as a closed case. Must be something weird with my system and/or it's configuration. My PC is a little long in the tooth, so who knows. Thanks for your help and taking the time to look into this, and thanks for converting your modules to 64-bit, I find them very handy. Not many are jumping on the SE 64-bit bandwagon, so those that are doing so should be commended (at least I think so).
