Hello,
I have created a simple pitch shifter using CK's module. The shifted output is heard 40 msec after the Dry signal. What I am trying to do is delay the dry signal by 40 msec in order to align it with the proccessed/pitched signal. Having done that, when I insert the plugin on a track in my DAW, this track is delayed by 40 msec.
Is there a way to force the DAW to an added latency value, when I use this plugin, so that all other tracks in my timeline get shifted accordingly? (The plugin forces the Daw to 2304 samples latency by default (without proccessing). By experimenting, I see that I need 1764 (40msec * 44.1) more samples added to this number, in order to sync the dry signal perfectly).
Thanks in advance for your precious time.

mmm i dont think so, but you could do a workaround by using a copy of your original track. set the original track to mute the dry signal. manually set the delay for the duplicated track to fit the shifted one.
or sample the pitched one.

Thank you. I am already using this workaround. I was hoping for an automatic way of syncing

there is an other possibility. maybe its not the plugin itself. maybe its your audio latency of your pc-system in cobination with your soundcart. if yes, the only way is to upgrade to a fast cpu and a good soundcart.
or the pitchifter itself. i will give it a try.

No, everything else is in perfect sync. it is the nature of the plugin itself that has latency, I know this. That is why I need to dial in my own latency amount. Anyway Arzobispo Traveller is a member of facebook's group that helped me out on this and now all is ok!!! www.facebook.com/groups/129301030415489/Thank you for your time Klangmanipulation.
