<I have also posted this query in the SythEditUsers Yahoo group - Apologies for repetition> I am new to SE, so apologies as I think I must be making some making some simple mistake but I can not work out what it is. I created a project in a non-registered SE 1.1 (both on a Windows 8.1 machine and a Windows 7 machine) and then saved as VST to a folder on the Desktop. The .dll file created runs fine as a plugin in Ableton Live 9 and in SAVIHost on the machine it was created on and the other machine with SE 1.1 installed. When I move the dll to a machine on which SE has not been installed (tried on Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1) the control panel does not appear in either Ableton Live 9 or SAVIHost, though the functionality of the project seems to be there. I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Runtime on each of these machines. I have run depends.exe on the various machines and a number of errors are flagged - but the errors are exactly the same on those machines where the plugin works and those where it does not. I have downloaded the PD303 Synth from: www.synthedit.com/free-synth-download-pd303/ and this runs fine on all the machines with or without VE 1.1 installed - so I seem to be getting something simple wrong. Can someone help, and tell me what I am doing wrong. I am happy to buy a registered version if I can get it to do what I want it to do.

Non-registered plugins made with SE lack GUI.
