Hello. Weirdest darn thing... whether the latest version or several older versions (1.1, 1.00017) I get an appcrash when I click on Play. Worked just fine on my XP box, but when I try on my Win 7 box (I haven't looked at SE in years), crash! Win 7, x64, with or without midi enabled, with or without asio, yadda yadda. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: SynthEdit.exe Application Version: 1.1.0.2 // same errors with other versions Application Timestamp: 4ec5a741 Fault Module Name: SynthEdit.exe Fault Module Version: 1.1.0.2 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ec5a741 Exception Code: c0000094 Exception Offset: 0010150f OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Microsoft's alleged help suggests it's related to audio. Thanks. Anyhoo, does anybody have any ideas on this? I'd very much love to get working on an idea that's been eating away at me!

Dunno, on my laptop (Win7 64bit) Synthedit runs fine, version 1.1x and 1.2x. Reinstalling Synthedit or maybe your audiodrivers doesn't help?

Just rebuilt the system today after a ghost image didn't resolve it, got updated drivers, yadda yadda. Ah well; tomorrow's another day for cleaning Windows, eh?
