Hey all, LOVE Synth edit, most of the VSTs I use are created with it, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm using full working version on Win 10, latest build of Win 10.
Using last stable version of SE.
I built a synth that plays in Cubase 5.1, sort of. It mainly just makes low growl noise. And the midi keyboard to my physical controller keyboard works, but not as well as the on-screen keyboard works in the SynthEdit interface. Biggest problem though is that the output is WAY to hot. Even with the volume on 1 in the DAW channel, it's overpowering, distorted and no other tracks can be clearly heard. Here's a screen shot.
Thank you for a very cool program.

You need a VCA module and an envelope. That picture you posted will keep all voices active(which it shouldn't), hence the loud signal. There is a great beginner's tutorial in the SE help file that learns the basics.
