Hi. I'm new. I am trying to create a VST effect, but when exporting it, it does not work in FL Studio or anywhere else. The interface appears, and the buttons can move, but the sound is not processed, it does not do anything in sound, the instruments sound clean, as if there were no added effect, no matter how much the buttons are moved. The strange thing is that the SynthEdit works perfect. I have done the process of exporting many times and the same thing always happens, the vst effect does not work when I try it in another program, in none it works. Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance.

which version of synthedit? 32-64bit. which version of FL? There is a checkbox "mono-use-ok" if you export it. maybe post your prefab or a screenshot?

It may be necessary to update the Microsoft .NET Framework version and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables versions to enable functional VST2 & VST3 export (SEE BELOW) ...
These are the versions I presently have installed SynthEdit Versions: ========== ========== SynthEdit_1.1_x86.msi v1.1.0.2 (If required download and copy mfc100u.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\SynthEdit\) mfc100u.dll v10.0.30319.1 Download URL: www.dll4free.com/mfc100u.dll.html ========== ========== SynthEdit_1.2_x86.exe v1.2 (Build 412.20154) ========== ========== *SynthEdit_1.3_x64.exe v1.3 (Build 277.24387) ========== ========== *SynthEdit_1.4_x64.exe v1.4. (Build 381.40661)
*Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 Download URL: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344 Filename: NDP462-KB3151800-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe
SynthEdit 1.2 - 1.4 Require Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributables Update 3 v14.0.24212.0 NOTE: These are the compatible versions for VST2 & VST3 export. Download URL: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53587 Filenames: vc_redist.x64.exe vc_redist.x86.exe

Thanks in advance. Make sure you have not reused the same 4 char ID for your VST. I've had this problem when I have forgotten to change the Id to something different each time you save it. And sometimes in FL studio you may need to delete the older versions of that same vst or they will crash. Delete them and only place the current one into your folder, find it and run it.
