Does anybody know how to control the black pins "mono mode" and "mono retrigger" on off in the Polyphony Control module in SE 1.4 64 bit? For some reason I can't figure out how to hook these up.

Hey Davidson Im doing some streaming and I've highlighted specifically that part, although it's left open for experimenting with assigning it a controller but the basic idea is there.
A viewer can increase the speed to 3x by opening the cog.

That was a nice step by step on polyphony control thank you thank you great stuff. I will watch the rest of the series. To understand the settings container and style/hint options I will have to see how that is implemented very cool. The only thing that I can't wrap my head around is Bender Range and glide time. It seems to not be connected to the midi controllers module bender output. I think it is connected to Midi CV 2 pitch through background connection. I had to use a direct connection to oscillator from midi controllers bender pin for PB to seperate from polyphony control. Also there is no way to completely turn off glide even at zero through polyphony control. The monitor shows glide still applying even though at 0. This causes zipping or clicks on legato notes in mono and poly mode. To turn off glide I had to...
I had to use a quantizer in between midi cv 2 pitch and oscillator with a step value of .083333333 thank you Elena. This is for glide time 0 and glide off. Works fine this way for poly and mono. SynthEdit always amazes me you think something can't happen then there is a lucky work around. Now I go watch video thanks parenteau!

I am very new to Synthedit and had the same problem. The video by parenteau was a huge help, but even so, there were still a few things I just discovered via trial and error:
1. You need to use the Sub-Controls version of "Bool to Int" for Mono Mode. There is another one of those modules in the Conversion section which won't work. It took me a long time to figure that out. 2. You can then connect the "Bool to Int" to a Popup Menu module, which gives you a little box where you can enter an Item List directly in the far right properties window. I used "Poly,Mono" here (enter it without the quotes). If you don't provide that menu item text, the switch does nothing. 3. The same things will work for the Mono Re-trigger mode.
Glide Time was another tough one ... it's a blue pin. If you directly hook to the "Position Animation" pin on the Image2 module as shown in the Synthedit help section, it will provide a very small knob which appears to have no effect. The problem is the default knob range is only 0 to 1 instead of 0 to 10. That's why you need to stick a Float Function module in between so you can set the proper scale. You can check or even manually override its numerical value by connecting the Glide pin also to Float to Text and then ListEntry4 modules. The default knob in Image2 is very small, and you can change it by going into the far right properties window where it says Filename and the entry default is "knob_sm". Change that entry to "knob_med" and it will be the same size as the knob option on the Slider controls.
Thanks!

Oh, and one more thing: Synthedit 1.4 default settings prevent storing the mono mode and glide settings with the program change. To change this, you have to back up a level, typically this is the main container, then click on the sub-container which holds the polyphony control module, then on the right side select "Details" which brings up a new window with all the Parameter Details. Scroll down and find the parameters and uncheck the "Ignore PC" box. Elena had some very helpful posts on this with some screenshots.
