Hi all, newbie here. I could not find this feature in any DAW I looked at, or an app. I do mostly improvisation on keyboard, as I don’t read music. But I read guitar chords. What I’m looking for is a simple chord analyzer (for MIDI). It would connect to a track, and display the chords of that track at the top of the screen, and then display them on playback, so that I can overdub immediately without having to guess. Ideally, the app I’m looking for is going to be integrated to my DAW, or stand as a sticky screen I can move around. CONTEXT: 1- I improvise on the keyboard for a few minutes and recording it. It's a keeper. 2- So now, I’d like to add arrangements to it, maybe some strings, percussion, etc. 3- So I need to see the names of the chords I played. So I only need an app to display the chords so I can play/record along. Here is the general idea on an image: So I'd like to know if something like this possible? I know nothing of coding but could this be pretty basic to build? (Windows 7 to 10, 64 bit). Thanks! Andre
