Self-made delay optimization

Hey,

So I am working on a self-made Delay (which I did not fully program) and I was wondering if it could be improved any more than it already is. I've tested it and I've seen that it has a similar behaviour than the official one given by Synthedit. My question is if the one made from Synthedit is optimized or not. If it is not I'll try to improve it but if it is I'll leave it as it is. I know it's a weird question but I don't think there is any optimization I can make to the code I'm working on to improved but maybe there really is (I'm still learning how the SDK works). I've also been having some troubles with the buffer when the signal stops so if anyone could help with it, that would be nice
