i've always been curious about trying to simulate a schematic in SE, made of 'discrete component' prefabs. nothing very complex: i'd start out with simple things, work up from that. not to make plugins with, just to help with learning electronics. to understand how something works before a build, check it, see what can be done with it. -i built a multimode filter once, but it just ended up a confusing mess. it might even work, i still have it, but i don't know how to troubleshoot it, so it's a lifeless lump of components now- unless i'm not seeing something ... how would i make a resistor? a capacitor? diode? inductor?! etc. i'd like to get a kit together of all the common components and a way to attribute values. please give suggestions to help this along (how to wire up a house next...)
