Hello again!
Some knobs give out unpleasant side-effects while turning (it's because of the nature of the parameters I tweak, nothing wrong...). Such glitches and unwanted effects are heard only when sound is playing, for example when changing the depth or rate of a chorus module, or when changing in real time the delay-time of a delay module.
So I ask if there is a way to "freeze" the last value of a knob as soon as I touch it, and refresh to the new value as soon as the mouse releases. ( I will use this on knobs which will not be used for automation)
Thank you.

Maybe a sample&hold where hold is controlled by Mouse down, maybe combined with a many to one, it should be possible to stop outputvalues from changing, until the mousebutton is released again. Haven't tried it yet but can't see why it shouldn't work.

mmm i would use the "mousdown" in combination with an sample&hold or an DH-array to freeze That's what I wrote earlier also / edit Btw. in the above circuit, a momentary push on Hold latches the current knob value. Then, the knob can be turned without a change on the output - and when Hold is pressed again - voila, new value on the output.

Hi, your help and advice did the job and made me understand some things better. I added a boolean inverter and a message for the user telling that the value will be active as soon as he/she releases the mouse. Thanx again!
