hey..i need to connect a BPM clock pulse pin and a button into the gate of a wave player module.... the idea is to make a patterns sequencer and also trigger the .wav with a midi control, but i do not know wich gate module shall i use....
ive tried them all and it seems that each time the pattern is playing the note does not triggers and vice-versa...
help please??!!

Hi, I guess when the sequencer is playing the gate input of the wave player is already on (5 or 10 Volts or so). So when you additionally press the button the .wav does not retrigger because the gate is already on. May that be the problem?

yes...humm i guess if i put a bypass -10v into the AND gate of the sequencer trigger..it might help...after all if this work..when i press the button it will give 0v into this gate and feed the wave player with 10 right?

im not exactly sure what you try to do so....
do you want to use the gate of the "midi to CV" for a clockpulse in the same time? are you using DH-Waveplayer2 or soundfont-osc? in some cases you need a monostable in front of a module that needs a clock.
or do you mean clock and gate must be conected to the same input pin? if yes, maybe a "voicecombiner" will work.

well..im not using midi2cv ..im using a direct button to the gate pin of the DH_Waveplayer2 and i want to connect the clock to this pin too in order to make a drum machine work with both pad cell and pattern sequencer... what is happening is that when i press the pad cell when the exact step of the pattern is activated, it mutes the sound... but besides this all works well... the pad cell plays normaly, the pattern sequencer too and when the pad cell hit does not match the pattern active step it also plays : )
what i wanted was for the pad cell also play when the step matches instead of muting...so that i could create some breaking without lossing the beat sound in the active step :S

Hm, and if you put a Level Adj. between the clock and the gate pin. Then you can connect '10 V - Pad output' to the second Lvl. Adj. pin.
LEVEL_ADJ. clock -------|>Input1 | 10-Pad-------|>Input2 | | Output>|----->Gate
This mutes the clock when the Pad is pressed.

hehehe i would do the same but with a "many to one" switch. i think the "voicecombiner" will work too. also a monostable could work because you cant trigger it again if its active in the same moment. oh, and btw... the DHwaveplayer has a trigger and a gate mode.

Another thought: assign each drum sound on two continuous keynotes (with constant voltage so the pitch is the same on both keys), and then trigger the first by the seq and the other with the pad. More work for you but Maybe it will not mute your sounds this way.
