Hi all! Yesterday I finished my container basic tutorials. Today I was hunting some se1 files and found Johan Brodd's work from 2003 - 2005. I took one of his creations (Strynx) and practiced the use of containers for my self. I wanna share that with the community - maybe it's kind of a help. It's a nice ~confusion vs. overview~ example. If you are interested in the se1 reworked version please email me, because wordpress don't feature exotic file formats neither ziprarish packs. Warning: Exessive renaming of container plugs . The original file Strinx.se1 is included in the JBM-synthedit-projects-2003.rar and JBM-synthedit-projects-2005.rar. sourceforge.net/projects/jbmsrclib/files/SynthEdit%20related/SE1%20files%20and%20skins/Additional info: Johan Brodd made his plugins aviable to download for free. The original torrent is not working, but there is mirrors out. I can't test the mirrors myself atm, sorry. www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=317526&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=291e20b023c3570108017dc555f83c48BeforeAfter

Hi,
I would also insert the ADSR module into that controls container, same for the SV filter and his controls container. And you only need to send one CV pitch signal to the Oscillator container, inside the container you can send it to the Oscs.
Cheers.

Ty Rob!
I didn't insert the ADSR modules inside the container, to show that a container must not have something going in. The se1 was modified by me for the next part of my container tutorials last words.
One pitch to container: My tutorial should be basic practice. As I said, I'll do a second part this weekend with more advanced stuff. Could u explain in some words how to connect the CV pitch to the osc's container?

A container can have connections into it, remember they are only to keep thing tidy, after save-as-vst they are discarded afaik. And they use 0% cpu.
When I get back home i'll post a screenshot of what I mean with the pitch stuff.

Ok, check this simple example. I left out what you did with the filter etc.:

Ah well, you mean I could connect the three OSC pitch plugs to one IO Mod spare plug. Ok, Ok, got it. I'll change that. TY!
For the plug colours, now I understand why people speak about yellow plugs. Is that Mac or 1.2 version in your screenshot? The normal PC demo definately have kinda really dirty yellow midi plugs. I would call it golden colour on a good day, mud colour on a bad day... lol

I'm using Synthedit 1.2, stopped using the older versions years ago. Buying SE in 2003 was the best choice I ever made.
