I'm still a bit of a SynthEdit newbie, so apologies in advance if I've missed something obvious. I have no trouble naming sliders, switches, containers, LEDs, etc. and those names show up nicely on the panel but for some reason all of my large knobs remain "Knob" and the small knobs have no caption at all. The container is unlocked and I can't see what I might be doing wrong... Any insights?

Hi. Welcome to the world of SynthEdit. It's not immediately obvious how to do this, but actually fairly simple "when you know". The knob is actually a "prefab" so fi you double click on the top of the control you'll open up the structure. Inside the structure you'll see a Text Entry 4 module containing the text "Knob", click on this module to select it, and in the properties panel on the left you'll see a box with the label "Text", containing the word "Knob", edit the word "Knob" to it's function name. Press return to enter the name, then close the prefab, and the caption on the knob should have changed to your choice. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you can't find an answer in the help file, or by googling.
Hope this helps you Regards Steve
