anyone used DH PopUp menus much? the menu seems to popup in weird places.
i found out you have to re-open the GUI/Panel Edit, but it still does it when i
re-open the project..s'pose it'll be ok in a plugin.. any known issues with using
these? can they work within multipanel setups? eg: hidden panel is shown, and
has a popup, just in that panel - i had a problem with this yesterday, it popped
up when the window/panel wasn't open.(? have to double check)

i use it in some stuff.. have no problems yet... yes it opens in strange places but test it in the panel edit... works fine with me ..

yeh, seems ok so far. takes a little while to figure out
the different between the various DH display modules.
Text I/O and Text display: Text I/O can be used as input device,
but Text Display is just a passive display, you cannot enter text.
but Text Display allows a transparent background, which Text I/O
does not.
and the Popups: i think the Menu looks best, haven't found a use for
anything with a dialogue box yet. maybe preset selection with popup
list.

i have been using the DH_Popup to list the files of a folder and choose the .wav files into my drum sampler. I have five wav players, each one for a diferent drum sound, and i use a file dialog to choose the first sound, the folder where the sound is its recorded to memory and all files in that folder are listed through the popup where i can choose a new file without openning the file dialog again : ) ... the files names are shown in a normal text entry ... i never used Text I/O or Text Display but i must try them out to see what i can do with them : )
