hi ... so ... I've been toying with the idea of this for a while now ... and this afternoon I took the plunge and finally made it happen. a DIY-skinnable 31 band spectrum analyser outputting the following frequencies as text to be passed to dd_GUIFl2TeP and onwards to whatever graphics you care to design. [16,20,31,40,50,63,80,100,125,160,200,250,315,400,500,630,800,1000,1250,1600,2000,2500,3150,4000,5000,6300,8000,10000,12500,16000,18000] infact, it has 2 sets of outputs - one for the main bar display, and another one with slower smoothing for trailing peaks : the FFT is sin-sq windowed from 8192 samples and it updates at 40hz this took a fair bit of time, so I'm not just going to give it away - but it won't cost you the earth ... so if you want a copy (along with the above gfx in example prefab) : just hit the donate button over at www.roughdiamondproductions.com/SE/ to send me £5 and I'll send-it-out via email early next week
