Please how do i increase knobs and sliders size in synthedit..
Thanks
!! i just logged on to post about this

if you stick to sizes 32x32/16x16/8x8 etc. objects 'snap' to position perfectly, vert+horiz.
if you choose an even number width other than those, they snap to centre
if you use other even-numbered height, it snaps to top or bottom
when you start a new project in knobman set the dimensions and work to those, rather
than the other way round - ..ending up with weird dimensions like 43x27 or whatever..you
don't want that, you want sizes like 32x(?32/42 seems ok, offsets by 3pixel), etc.), 16x16,
etc. this is what i've been finding out, looking at it again lately, and applying it today.
use a transparency=1 area as a background so you still get the full click/hit area,
even for smaller visible items - if you work to those sizes you will have easy object
positioning.
once you -lol- remove any doubt regarding what dimensions you should use, you're free to
be much more creative with layers in your knobman projects. i found that doubling layers
up, with 50% transparency to to top one, gives colour/shading mixing possibilities, for example.
(it looks like this is also how ultra-realistic is done, importing actual photos in, with layer mixing)
you can then containerize/'group' elements of the project for easier manangement and viewing.
there is also the oversampling mode where you work at x2/x4 scale - which i don't use yet.
knobman and skinman are excellent dedicated tools - i'm not sure which is the best version of
skinman, i just update to the latest whenever i visit, but this one has some new behaviour with
clicking on elements that i don't think as much as an older version - it has snap though, so it is
better in the end...(he seems to have moved off into a java version, bffff, is that as good?)
