Hello!
I'm totally new to SynthEdit (and totally new to the development of plugins, but I'm 55 and have a quite good experience in synths). I have bought SynthEdit... just two hours ago. So the only version I have is the current one, the 1.1.
I have bought it because of an invitation to collaborate for the creation of GUI's for a developer who has the version 1.017.
And of course also because I'm curious by nature and I think it is an opportunity to discover this world of development after having spent years to use software and hardware synths.
I have read that a modification made with the 1.1 makes the project not backward compatible with the 1.0... the consequence being that the developer couldn't any more use the project in his 1.017 if I touch his source and re-save the project. Therefore I must use the version 1.0x for this collaboration.
I assume (but I'm pretty sure) that it is possible to have two versions installed in parallel on the same machine, as soon as they are installed in different directories.
So my question is: is it still possible to download the 1.017 somewhere? And of course if so... where?
Thank you! BlackWinny
