After the last week of frustration trying to get my own coding to work in SE, it all of a sudden came together and I now know how to setup various types of modules for SE . I am using Visual Studio CE (If anyone reads this and wants to know how to get going in visual studio let me know and I will post steps), I tried to use CodeBlocks but could not get on with it. One of the problems I have had is looking around the web for information regarding SE I have found most links to information no longer work? So as I am "new on the block" so to speak is SE still relevant to the future? how long for version 1.2 to come out of Altha? In saying this I am loving using SE and am now able to create my own musical effects/synths/modules to compliment what I wish to do musically. Hoping SE still has a future and gets better. Regards Chris.

Hi Chris,
Nice you got it all working now. There isn't much information regarding SE SDK, the SDK usergroup @ Yahoo and the examples in the SDK are basicly the only sources. When Synthedit 1.2 goes out of Alpha, nobody knows...you really need to ask these things at the SDK usergroup..where Jeff reads the posts. As far as I know Jeff still wants to continue the development, he gets paid by some music company to develop plugins or so.
Cheers,
Rob.

Man I would love Jeff to develop my plugins! "Of course it would cost a bundle" but could you imagine his work? Being that he developed synthedit, Nothing is too hard for him.
