Hi,
Why everytime I launch SynthEdit v1.4 Build 618 (lastest in date), it creates an unwanted VST2 subfolder into C:\Program Files\Common Files? I precise this path isn't declared into SynthEdit Preferences.
It's not really a bug, don't worry, but I don't want this useless VST2 subfolder
Since long time I'm using C:\VST64 as shared 64-bit VST 2.4 folder (it contains vendor names, for better plugins organization). Also, this C:\VST64 path is declared in Windows Registry (as documented on Steinberg website) : Key HKLM\SOFTWARE\VST, value VSTPluginsPath (REG_SZ as type) containing... C:\VST64 Some DAWs and installers use it for default proposed path to VST 2.4 plugins.
Generated VST (2.4) by SynthEdit 1.4 (x64) also goes to C:\VST64\xxxxx (xxxxx subfolder is name of plugin created with SynthEdit).
Please consider to disable the automatic creation of C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2 in future builds, it will be cool!
Thanks in advance.
