They run fine on my Mac using Catalina. Is there something I or the user can do to make them work in Mojave?

A little search on synthedit@groups.io reveals there are numerous people having problems with OSX Mojave up to and some even with V10.14 Mojave. There doesn't seen to be a general fix as far as I can see.
