Hi guys,
i am actually using one osc to feed two parallel oscs as an analogue modular synthesis, but what im doing is diferent from this. I´m using several waveshapers with a list choice for each wave between the modulator and the carrier phasemod pin. My intention is to create diferent waves from sine/saw/triangle with the waveshaping and then feed them as modulation for the 2 carrier oscillators so that i may achieve new sounds.
Well, my doubt is that if this is a correct procedure or if it may bring any problems during music production??!!!
I have encontered some tiny issues through this such as:
- some waves in the waveshapers seem to do not work...more like they are in conflict inside the containner where i have them. I use the same containner for all waveshapers (6) and it seems somehow that when i draw some shapes they work solo, but if i draw another it does not work...anyway.. most of the times i can put the 6 shapes working inside the same containner soloing each one.
- it seems that sometimes, the same not played once several times, gains diferent attacks and releases, more like it is not synced at note start up. I have tried to connect the sync pin of the oscs to the gate pin of MIDI2CV to see if gateing it could solve the problem...it seems better but not yet fixed.
If someone can light me up a bit of my idea i would like!
Thanks!
