You are right Rob, and it is incredible that there are people who prefer to stop using their favorite plug-ins just to switch to Ableton Live 64-bit (MOTU and PreSonus are others who do not support legacy 32-bit plug-ins). You tell people to stay with the 32-bit version of such hosts but everybody falsely believe that 64-bit host means better sound (of course we know that is not so!). BTW, nor Jeff nor anybody else have to do anything if it's so complicated, I just wanted to express my desire to include such a tool when distributing SE creations (it costs nothing to dream!).

Thank you Rob and KlangManipulation, I understood that it is not possible. Someone should tell Jeff to correct the information about "making 64-bit VST2" here. www.synthedit.com/members/

If it were that simple, the solution would be available already. Well, it is completely out of my programming knowledge but seems to be a lot of solutions implemented by host developers. The following is a list of some 64-bit software for Windows that is natively able to run 32-bit legacy plug-ins. Bitwig Studio Bremmers Audio Design MultitrackStudio 8 Cakewalk Music Creator 7 Cakewalk Sonar 21 Cockos Reaper 5 Image Line FruityLoops Studio 12 LMMS MAGIX Samplitude Pro X2 13 MAGIX Sequoia 13 n-Track Studio 8 Steinberg Cubase 8 Steinberg Nuendo 7

I just tried the v1.2281 preview (64-bit) from official page where you can read "for making 64-bit VST2, VST3 (Windows and Mac) plugins". Please I need some help because I don't know what I'm doing wrong for not being able to export the VST2 (.dll) file. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate.
Thank you in advance.

Last time I tried IL Minihost (a few months ago) it was 64-bit loading 64-bit plugs and 32-bit loading 32-bit. Are you saying there's somewhere a new 64-bit version that loads 32-bit plugs?

We SynthEdit developers need a freeware 32-bit bridge NOW! I am sure that there must be many programmers who could solve the problem in a blink of an eye. It should be a companion file as simple to use as SAVIHost. jBridge is NOT the solution, we offer our software freely and don't want our users to be forced to pay Mr. jBridge anyway. cescato.altervista.org/
